With 1,000 customers and a strong install base, we’re on a mission to continue growing. To join us on our journey, we are now looking for an Account Manager to take care of our current customers, specifically in the Dutch market.

As an Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers get the very best out of Sympa. You’ll manage a portfolio of key accounts, act as their trusted partner, and work closely with both customers and colleagues to strengthen long-term relationships. While the role can be fast-paced and hands-on, it also gives you the chance to spot opportunities for growth and deepen customer value over time.

What you get to do every day

  • Be the main point of contact for your own portfolio of customers and take care of those relationships

  • Help customers get the most value from Sympa’s solutions, making sure they feel supported and satisfied

  • Spot and prevent churn risks by staying close to customer needs and taking proactive actions

  • Look out for opportunities to grow the partnership by introducing additional products or services

  • Handle practical processes, such as price corrections and contract updates, in a smooth and professional way

  • Learn the ins and outs of the Sympa platform so you can give customers practical advice to reach their HR goals

  • Build trust with people across customer organizations, from daily users to decision-makers

  • Work side by side with colleagues in Sales, Marketing, Product, and Services to create smooth customer experiences

  • Share insights and collaborate with other customer-facing teams to make our customer work even better

Job requirements

What do we value in our candidates?  

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end customer relationships in a B2B environment. You’re technically oriented and capable of learning the ins and outs of a complex SaaS system, while staying steady and solution-focused even when faced with complex issues. With your collaborative mindset and ability to build trust, you’ll help us and our customers succeed.


For this position it is a mandatory requirement to have fluent communication skills in Dutch, since we are looking for a person to focus taking care of our customers in the Netherlands.

Furthermore, the following experience and skills are needed to succeed 

  • Experience in account management in a tech or SaaS environment

  • Fluency in Dutch and English, any Nordic language considered an advantage

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • A customer-first mindset with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships

  • Confidence in handling account processes such as renewals, churn prevention, and price corrections

  • A proactive and organized way of working — able to manage multiple accounts and tasks at once

  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues across different functions

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn the Sympa platform inside out
